Be happy, be healthy. Because you are worth it.

Kenny and Lisa Rye coach one person at a time, in a studio of their own. Strength, movement, yoga, and the ordinary habits that hold it all together.

Training with Kenny

Strength, from wherever you are starting

Resistance training built around your body rather than a programme off a shelf. Posture and technique come first, which is why Kenny works with so many people who arrive with a bad back. Sessions are forty five to sixty minutes, one to one, in a room with nobody else in it.

Yoga with Lisa

Movement that puts you back together

One to one yoga in the studio, weekly classes around Worthing, and afternoon retreats through the year. Lisa is a 200 hour registered yoga teacher and has completed thirty hours of Menoyoga training. No experience needed, and nothing you have to be able to do first.

Accountability and food

The bit that happens between sessions

Weekly accountability, weigh ins and nutrition support come with coaching and are not charged separately. Real food, enough protein, and a plan that bends when your week does.

The practical bits

Six things worth knowing before you message.

.01

A studio of our own

A private gym near Worthing Hospital. Just you and your coach, with every piece of kit free the moment you want it.

.02

One person at a time

Every session is one to one. If coming on your own is the part putting you off, you can bring somebody with you.

.03

The extras are included

Weekly accountability, weigh ins and nutrition support come with coaching. We do not charge separately for any of it.

.04

Fifty years between us

Kenny has been training since the eighties and competes in natural bodybuilding. Lisa has been coaching for twenty years and teaching yoga alongside it.

.05

Parking outside

On road parking by the studio. If your session time needs a permit, we will sort one out for you.

.06

We will say if we are not right

If what you are after is not what we do, we will tell you and point you at somebody better. It costs nothing to ask.

In their words

What people said afterwards

Written by clients, in their own words.

A year later I am weighing the least I have in my adult life, dropping over 25kg. I can finally look in the mirror without shame.

The questions people ask first

I have not trained in years. Is that a problem?

It is the usual starting point. Everything is scaled to what you can do now, and the first job is getting you moving well rather than moving heavy.

I have a bad back. Can I still train?

Often yes, and it is the thing Kenny is asked about most. He was told he needed a spinal operation for degenerative disc disease, dropped seventy pounds instead, and never had the operation. He has studied lower back pain at Level 4 and works on form and posture before anything else. We are not clinicians, so if something needs a physio or a GP we will say so.

Will I be in a gym full of people?

No. It is a private studio and your session is one to one. One of Lisa's clients put it this way: she recommends her especially if you do not like busy gyms.

What does it cost?

Ask us and we will tell you straight away. Pricing depends on whether you are training with Kenny or Lisa and how often you want to come, and we would rather give you a real figure for what you actually want than a number on a page.

Do you do yoga as well as weights?

Yes. Lisa teaches one to one yoga in the studio, weekly classes around Worthing and afternoon retreats through the year. Plenty of people do both.

Not sure where to start?

Send a message and say what you are after. If we are not the right fit we will tell you, and point you at somebody who is.
