Classes
Weekly classes, around Worthing
Slow flow and Hatha, taught in blocks of six weeks and as weekly drop ins, at venues across Worthing including Salt Water Studios. Small enough that Lisa knows your name and what your shoulder is doing. Giggles and wobbles are part of it.
Private sessions
One to one, in the studio
Yoga in the same private studio as the training, with nobody watching. Good if you are recovering from something, if a class feels like too much to walk into, or if you want to work on one thing properly.
Mini retreats
An afternoon, two or three times a year
Three hours to stop. A gentle flow, themed meditation, tea and homemade snacks, then a restorative practice and yoga nidra before you float home. Held at Salt Water Studios and at venues out in the countryside. Most people who come do not practise regularly, which is rather the point.
Menopause
Menoyoga, for the years nobody warns you about
Lisa found out she was in perimenopause after months of brain fog, broken sleep and wondering what was wrong with her. She has since completed thirty hours of Menoyoga training and runs workshops on the symptoms that are hardest to talk about: anxiety, rage, overwhelm and the nights you do not sleep.

Yoga questions
I am not flexible. Can I come?
Yes, and Lisa would be the first to tell you she cannot fold herself in half either. Tight hamstrings and a stiff lower back are the normal starting point, not a reason to stay away.
I have never done yoga at all.
Then a beginners block is the place to start. Six weeks, going slowly, nobody rushing through the poses, and the whole point is how it feels rather than how it looks.
What do I need to bring?
Yourself and something comfortable. Mats, blocks and bolsters are there. For the outdoor class in summer, bring a mat or a towel and some water.
Do I need to practise regularly to come on a retreat?
No. Around 85 percent of the women who come to Lisa's mini retreats do not practise with her regularly. They come because it is three hours that belong to them.
Where do I book?
Classes and retreats are booked at lisaryeyoga.co.uk. One to one yoga in the studio is arranged through us, so just send a message.
